On our second visit, the waitress was not very friendly at all and never refilled drinks or anything. Actually, our waitress neglected us enough that Patty, the fantastic one, actually brought us our food and then some condiments.
Pros: Great food! The sweet- potato fries are excellent and plentiful! Patty the waitress (our waitress on the first visit) was warm and friendly and gracious! Salad bar is average in its selection, but fresh and tasty. Atmosphere is pretty good, nothing fancy.
Cons: Both visits took about 45 minutes to get our food, and the restaurant was not full either time. We came about 5:15 both times and did get food until after the top of the hour.
Good steaks, pleasant atmosphere.
Steaks are excellent. Love the waffle waffle fries.
The rybeye is fabulous. Great service. Very nice staff. Highly recommended.
Get to Huron often, so decided to give this place a first try. First of all, I loved the way it's decorated, great music, nice atmosphere. This place has great potential, however, you need to train your waitresses better. I was brought lukewarm water for my hot tea, no saucer, so no place to put my teabag, so finally got up with my cup to find waitress & ask for hot water, had to ask for sweetener for tea as well, no spoon. My husband had a lot of grounds in his coffee. Our food took awhile, but the waitress never came back to ask if we wanted more coffee/tea while we were waiting. When we did get our food, the waitress never came back to ask how our food was. My hamburger was to red inside in the middle. I ended up cutting my red part out. I'm giving this 4 stars because it seems like a nice place &hopefully it was just a bad waitress experience. Train your help explicitly & you'll have a great business that can't go wrong. Best wishes. We will try it again.
